Researcher – North Africa
The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) seeks several Researchers in North Africa, preferably local nationals. ABA ROLI’s mission is to promote justice, economic opportunity and human dignity through the rule of law.
The Researchers will be responsible for in-country key informant interviews for three major assessments in the January-April 2020 timeframe. The Researchers should ideally have the following skills and background:
· Excellent written and spoken English skills (required);
· Fluency in Arabic and/or French;
· Experience carrying out key informant interviews for major research projects;
· Substantive background related to human rights of vulnerable groups in North Africa;
· Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team as well as take initiative when appropriate;
· Ability to travel to countries in the region.
