The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) seeks an experienced court administrator to serve as a guest lecturer for an ABA ROLI web-based seminar for Colombian Judiciary Clerks. It is expected that the seminar will be held during a five two-hour sessions and will cover a prior Court Administrator Guidebook drafted by an ABA ROLI Consultant, and which is being translated into Spanish. The sessions will be conducted on the following topics: leadership in court administration; ethics in the administration of justice; inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA); procedural fairness; and the use of technology in the administration of justice. The seminar is expected to start in the second week of September. Each session will be held on a certain day of a week, so the total length of the seminar will be 5 weeks. Sessions will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm Bogota Time. While preference will be given to Spanish-speaking experts, ABA ROLI also welcomes the interest of English-speakers and will facilitate simultaneous interpretation via virtual platforms as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare presentations, along with necessary materials, to a group of between 30 and 50 Colombian judiciary clerks.
· Coordinate and consult with ABA ROLI Washington and Bogota the specific content and methodology to be used during the training.
· Be totally familiar with the content of the ABA ROLI paper related to Court Administration for clerks.
· Provide suggestions as to the better way to adapt this paper to the training to be provided.
· Attend ABA ROLI meetings to both organized the training sessions and also to evaluate its effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:
- Certified Court Administrator at the Federal or State Level in the United States.
- 10+ years’ experience as court administrator in the U.S.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a court administration setting.
- Experience training adults on professional skills, especially clerks or judges.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate practice-based learning exercises for justice sector professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish fluency.
- Experience working in Latin America or with Latino populations.
