The American Bar Association Center for Human Rights is seeking a contractor to support its work to protect human rights defenders at risk in the Middle East and North Africa by executing the following services: 1) Providing comprehensive legal analysis of legal documents and judgments between 1 and 30 pages; 2) Submitting petitions to U.N. Working Groups and Special Rapporteurs; 3) Conducting advocacy meetings with relevant government officials, international organizations, and stakeholders. The ideal contractor will hold a legal degree, demonstrate fluency in both English and Arabic, and be familiar with basic digital and physical security protocols and secure communications platforms.
