ABA ROLI Program Coordinator, Algeria
ABA-ROLI is looking for a Program Coordinator responsible for day-to-day implementation of a one-year program supporting the Algerian legal community and civil society actors working on justice sector reform initiatives. Primary tasks will be coordination with local partners and managing logistical and administrative needs of the program. This is a one-year position with the possibility to extend, based in Algiers. Principal Duties/Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day management of ABA ROLI’s Algeria Legal Partner Initiative, including compliance with donor, ABA, and local laws/regulations.
Coordinate, liaison, and outreach as needed to ABA ROLI partners and governmental authorities.
Organize discussions and training sessions for lawyers and civil society actors in Algeria and through online platforms, assuring their timely implementation according to established work plans, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and budgets.
Support the work of international experts and staff in Algeria.
Work with ABA ROLI field based and DC staff to ensure efficient and timely expense reporting and administrative operations.
Support timely, accurate, and compliant programmatic monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection for program reporting to the donor and ABA-ROLI DC-based staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
At least five years’ experience with international development organizations.
At least five years’ experience working in Algeria.
Fluency in Arabic and French, proficiency in English.
