The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), a leading USAID implementer of programs that promote justice, economic opportunity and human dignity through the rule of law is seeking qualified international and local Armenian long and short-term experts to serve on a USAID-funded Rule of Law program in Armenia to help the Government of Armenia reform justice sector institutions through: (1) establishing effective and efficient court administration and case management system; (2) supporting self-regulatory institutional capacity development; (3) improving legal and professional education; and (4) facilitating oversight of the implementation of justice sector reform through collaborative action.
ABA ROLI (https://www.americanbar.org/advocacy/rule_of_law/) is seeking candidates with international rule of law development experience in a number of technical and administrative areas. ABA ROLI is seeking candidates interested in both long term in-country assignments as well as short-term consulting assignments in the following areas:
- Justice Sector Reform/Judicial Reform
- Court Administration and Court Management
- Judicial Training
- Legal Education Curriculum Development
- Clinical Legal Education Programs
- Gender Equality in the Legal Sector
- Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
- Financial Administration
- Grants Administration
Prior experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred.
